A Cappella Choir Member

To enhance the music of the parish by providing an opportunity for parishioners to attend Masses at which music is sung that is drawn from the a cappella choral tradition of the Church. A member of the A Cappella choir sings for Masses at St. Anthony Church in Oxnard. This job description reflects management’s assignment of essential job responsibilities; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Position requirements include: • Ability to sing and carry an independent musical line as a soloist or in ensemble. • Ability to read and sing music to an appropriate level that does not inhibit the rehearsals and is sufficient to meet the demands of the music that is selected.
