Accompanist

Church Accompanist We are seeking a skilled musician to provide service music for worship and congregational singing. Responsibilities: • Provide service music for worship and congregational singing • Accompany adult choir and other vocal and instrumental ensembles • Play for weddings and funerals as scheduled • Meet with the Director of Music Ministries to coordinate in worship and educational planning • Collaborate with all types of musicians for all aspects of church music ministry Requirements: • Be a person of faith who sees their role as a vehicle of evangelism and Christian growth • Proficiency on piano and keyboard • Organ skills appreciated but not required • Attention to Detail, Collaborative, Innovative • Background, reference, and criminal check Working Conditions: Firm Sundays and Wednesdays, flexible hours otherwise Pay and Benefits: $13,500 per year, paid time off, and ability to relocate to Pineville, NC
