**Job Summary:**
**Sierra High School Choir Accompanist**

The Sierra High School Choir Accompanist provides piano accompaniment and musical support for choir performances and rehearsals. The accompanist will work closely with the choir director and students to support successful performances.

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide piano accompaniment for choir dress rehearsals and concerts.
* Attend scheduled out-of-school choir tours, performances, and events as needed.
* Prepare music in advance and rehearse assigned repertoire with the choir.
* Follow the direction of the choir director and adjust accompaniment as needed to support student musicians.
* Help maintain a professional, positive, and supportive musical environment.

**Schedule:**
This is a part-time, performance-based position. The accompanist is **not required to attend regular daily choir classes** and will primarily be present for dress rehearsals, concerts, and scheduled out-of-school performances or tours.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
Strong piano skills, experience accompanying vocalists or ensembles, ability to read choral music, and a professional, dependable approach to working with high school students.
**Qualifications:**

Criminal background checks and District fingerprinting required.
