Purpose A. Under the direction of the Director of Music and in cooperation with the Choir Directors will plan and play appropriate music for the Traditional and Contemporary service. E. Share with other musicians, the responsibility of providing music at other church events including but not limited to Advent Celebrations, church dinners and hymn sings, Lenten services, Vacation Bible School and Children’s Choir. Ability to play hymns and accompany the choirs 4\. D. Familiarity with reading in contemporary notation (i.e. leadsheets) E. Reverent understanding of the importance of music as a part of the church’s ministry, spiritual life and outreach.
