Med- Tech/Resident Assistant
Schedule: 10:00 am to close. (required to work every other weekend & every other holiday.

Job Type: Full-time

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and mobility assistance

Administer medications accurately and safely according to physician orders and community policies

Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the Administrator

Document medication administration and resident care accurately and in a timely manner

Provide compassionate emotional support and companionship to residents

Assist residents during meal times and encourage proper nutrition and hydration

Respond promptly to resident call bells, requests, and emergencies

Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents

Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies and procedures

Assist with resident activities and encourage social engagement

Communicate effectively with residents, families, coworkers, and healthcare professionals

Ensure medication carts, supplies, and resident care areas remain organized and properly stocked

Perform routine safety checks and rounds throughout the shift

Support and promote residents' independence, dignity, and quality of life

Work collaboratively as part of the caregiving team to provide exceptional resident-centered care

Prior experience working in assisted living facilities is required

Housekeeping
Schedule: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Signing Bonus: $1,000

The primary purpose of this position is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department to ensure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas.

Keep area free of hazardous objects; ensure established infection control; use appropriate personal protective equipment, etc.

Every other weekend, every other holiday is required. Must be responsible and have reliable transportation. E. O. E.

Food Service Worker / Dietary Aide
Ft/ PT Dietary Aides/ Food Service Worker NEEDED for Great Family Business! No experience is necessary. Will train. Work through Levels from $15. 00/hr to $15. 50/hr.

1st Shift has a $1. 00 shift differential. 5:30 am - 2pm FT/PT

2nd Shift 10:30 am - Close FT/PT

Food service workers are required to work every other weekend and every other Holiday. $1000 Retention Bonus ($500 Retention for part-time)

Activities Music Assistant
The Activities Music Assistant will coordinate activities with the Activities Director using music that will cater to a patient's individual or group needs. The Music Assistant works with patients individually or in groups by encouraging them to play, listen, or move to music as part of their daily activity program. Music will be incorporated through the use of instrumental or vocal activities into a patient's daily life to give them a feeling of accomplishment and feel that they have contributed to a piece of work with their own talent. The objective of a music assistant is to observe a patient's physical or mental state and construct a plan involving music that will stimulate their mind and relax their body.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16. 00 per hour

Must be able to read musical notations

Must be able to play and perform on the piano or guitar adequately

Must be able to play to sing proficiently

Preferably able to play and perform a second musical instrument

Will be comfortable with public speaking and performance

Must be accepting that the job has other responsibilities and tasks besides music

Must be a quick learner, able to lead activities to an older population and keep attention of residents

Must be willing to learn music that the residents know and love

Creativity is a must

Must be able to work in a healthcare setting; 1 evening shift per week and a minimum of 1 weekend per month

Must be able to work with patients who are extremely ill and even dying

Music degree/certified music therapist not required, but a plus

Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment

Experience not necessary, but a plus

Position Summary: The Administrator provides leadership and direction for overall community operations to ensure delivery of quality care and resident centered services in accordance with all laws, regulations, and Zerbe Retirement Community policies. Participate in sales support to meet census goals. Reports directly to the CEO.

Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in Pennsylvania

Active Personal Care Home Administrator license with experience

Demonstrated knowledge of state regulations

Ability to instruct, direct and lead staff

Supervisory experience in senior services preferred

Must have a Personal Care Administrator License in Pennsylvania to be considered for this position.

Interviews, hires, trains, evaluates, supervises, schedules, supports, counsels and develops staff

Must be able to plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, benchmark, and direc.
