Adjunct Music Teacher (Piano & Voice)

The Adjunct Music Instructor is responsible for providing quality music instruction to our students. The instructor is responsible for providing one-on-one instruction so that students are able to successfully complete graduation requirements and/or personal goals in an engaging environment.

**Specific Duties and Responsibilities include:**

* The primary responsibilities of the Adjunct Music Instructor is teaching weekly private music lessons in qualified areas of voice and/or instrument.
* Preparing music students for performances
* Maintaining a written record of each student’s preparation and progress throughout the semester
* Reporting as needed to the department head or program coordinator

##### **Qualifications:**

A Bachelor’s degree in Music or a related field is required. Preference given to professionals with teaching experience, ideally at the secondary level. The ideal candidate will be:

* committed to improving their practice through peer observation
* dedicated to making positive contributions to the student experience and in student performance preparations

**Pay rate:** $55/lesson

##### **Additional Requirements:**

* Successful completion of post-offer, pre-employment criminal background checks and drug test.
* Maintain punctual and regular attendance.
* Work is performed on a smoke-free campus.
