Admissions Representative at a Music School

California College of Music is searching for a full-time Admissions Representative. You’ll help build a next-generation institution as a critical member of a small, tight-knit team of musicians and educators spearheading a new vision for our institution. YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE: Opening the facility every morning Greeting prospective students, faculty, staff, and visitors and setting a positive social tone on our campus Answering phone calls and emails regarding enrollment and converting interested parties into new student enrollees Introducing educational programs to potential students and giving campus tours Developing relationships with prospective students and parents over phone/email Mailing and emailing College information to potential students Making legal disclosures to potential and current students Taking and delivering messages Documenting student enrollment using approved forms Conducting the admissions process from start to finish according to established procedures Creating and maintaining student records and files Participating in weekly staff meetings to update the Administration team about prospective enrollments Attending local college fairs and seeking outreach opportunities where the college would benefit Ensuring students are successfully completing their program REQUIRED SKILL SET AND QUALITIES: Upbeat, extroverted, and welcoming attitude Typing speed of at least 60 WPM Fluency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Drive Knowledge in navigating social media platforms to communicate with prospective students Great telecommunication skills and phone demeanor Excellent grammar, spelling, copywriting, and editing skills Dependability, punctuality, and patience PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILL SET: At least 1 year of experience in a Sales Representative position Experience in popular music (performance, songwriting, production, management, etc.) TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION: Send us your professional résumé and cover letter.
