Robert Battle, Artistic Director, continues the pioneering work of Alvin Ailey and furthers the development of a... cultural community which provides dance performances, training, and community programs for all people.The Ailey organization has a rich and inspiring history rooted in African-American traditions and provides young people with a range of role models within its group of experienced instructors. The Ailey School employs Musicians part-time to accompany classes with students enrolled in all the school's various programs. Should demonstrate expertise working in a particular dance technique(s) as a professional artist and performer. Familiarity with ballet a plus. $62 to $65 per class
