Key Responsibilities • Perform in a variety of musical styles, including marching band, ceremonial performances, concert band, classical, jazz, ethnic, and popular music. In the Army National Guard, you earn a steady paycheck while acquiring these essential job skills and can qualify for tuition assistance. Your training as an Army Musician includes 10 weeks of Basic Training, where you will gain fundamental Soldiering skills, followed by up to 23 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, tailored to your instrument proficiency level.
