We are seeking a creative and passionate Art Instructor to teach Kindergarten through 6th grade students in a public school setting. What You’ll Do
Teach basic art concepts such as drawing, painting, coloring techniques, and creative design to small groups of elementary students.Plan engaging, age-appropriate art activities for Kindergarten to Grade 6 students.Encourage creativity, confidence, and self-expression through hands-on projects.Maintain a fun, positive, and safe classroom environment.Help prepare student artwork for showcases, displays, or school events when needed.
Requirements
Experience in art, painting, drawing, illustration, fine arts, or related creative fields.Experience working with children is preferred.Reliable transportation to the South Sacramento / Elder Creek area.Ability to pass a standard DOJ/FBI background check (required for school sites).Patient, energetic, and passionate about working with young children.
Bonus Skills (Preferred but not required):
Experience teaching crafts, mixed media, digital art, or classroom art instructionEducation background or teaching experience
