the artists know (the ark) exists to change the landscape for independent artists by building community and providing support. As an Artist Community Intern, you will nurture an ecosystem for artists, helping them navigate their careers and connect with resources to build sustainable futures. Responsibilities • Create a welcoming the artists know (the ark) presence on your campus and in your local creative scene • Connect with artists, producers, and songwriters navigating career uncertainty • Host intimate gatherings - listening sessions, artist showcases, mixers, workshops and honest conversations • Partner with music programs, creative clubs, and student organizations • Be a trusted bridge between artists and the artists know (the ark) • Help onboard new members and ensure they understand how to use the artists know (the ark) effectively • Share authentic content about the artists know (the ark) on your social platforms • Gather feedback on what artists need most right now • Offer local insight to help evolve our tools and programming • Help develop a simple campus plan focused on meaningful engagement (not vanity metrics) • Track outreach and impact • Collaborate regularly with the the artists know (the ark) team • Bring ideas that strengthen the community experience Skills • Deeply connected within music or creator communities • Passionate about artist wellbeing and career sustainability • A natural connector who enjoys building relationships AND helping others • Self-directed and organized • Available up to 10 hours per week but flexible • You must be based in Nashville but can work remotely around your own schedule Company Overview • We break down the music industry in a step-by-step in an artist journey.
