Artist Content Manager and Social Media Video Editor

We are looking for a creative Artist Content Manager and Social Media Video Editor to work with an independent Christian hip hop artist based in Austin. This role is for someone who genuinely understands social media, music culture, short form video, and what makes content entertaining. Edit short form videos for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTubeHelp manage and post content across the artist's social platformsTurn existing videos, performances, studio footage, music videos, interviews, lifestyle footage, and other content into engaging postsHelp build weekly content calendarsResearch current trends and bring new content ideas to the tableCreate strong hooks, captions, subtitles, and platform specific editsHelp respond to comments and build communityHelp plan content around upcoming music releasesIdentify content opportunities during shoots, performances, studio sessions, and everyday lifeTell the artist what new content should be filmed when additional footage is neededWho We Are Looking For How to Apply A resume or brief overview of your experienceLinks to content you have edited or createdAny social media accounts, artists, creators, or businesses you have worked withA brief explanation of why music and social media content interests youNo lengthy application video is required.
