Assistant Band Leader

The Assistant Band Leader supports the Band Leader by providing essential instructional, administrative, and logistical oversight for the school instrumental music program. The Assistant Band Leader plays a critical role in maintaining instrument inventory, ensuring student safety, and facilitating a high-quality, engaging musical experience for all participants. Key Responsibilities : Assist Band Leader in planning, rehearsing, and directing various instrumental groups, including marching band, concert band, jazz band, orchestras, and small ensembles/soloists. Prior experience as a director or assistant director of a school music program is preferred. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse students, staff, and community members.
