Assistant Director of Bands

Summary : Assist Director of Bands with recruiting band members, managing the bands, fundraising, and hosting band events. Primary Duties and Responsibilities : • Assist with direction of both athletic and concert ensembles Coordinate and facilitate the operations of the university band program as directed by the Director of Bands. • Assist with large events such as : Tigerpalooza, OSSAA State Band Contest, Pre-State Clinic and Performance, ECOBDA Honor Band, Day As A Music Major, guest artists, and other events on campus that involve the Department of Performing Arts. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
