The successful candidate will assist with the administration, instruction, recruitment, and daily operation of the nationally recognized Marching Maroon and White Band, concert ensembles, and athletic bands. Three (3) years of successful experience teaching instrumental music at the secondary or collegiate level, or equivalent professional experience. Demonstrated experience in music arranging for marching bands, athletic bands, and/or concert ensembles. Experience with HBCU marching band traditions and performance practices is preferred. Knowledge of marching band drill design and production.
