Assistant or Associate Professor of Music: Band Director

The successful person in this position will function as a colleague within a Division of Music that is committed to serving the students of the southern crescent area of greater Atlanta. They will develop relationships with the music educators of the area to recruit their students to play in the instrumental ensembles of the Division of Music and to major or minor in the BA in Music or the BM in Music Education. They will develop the band program as a part of the on-campus experience of all CSU students by creating ensembles that represent the university on and off campus. Ideal candidates for this tenure-track position will combine experience with the development of a band program with a strong record of experiential and academic experiences in music education.
