The CCM Musical Theatre was the first program of its kind in the US, was used by the National Association of Schools of Theatre in formulating the guidelines for the accreditation of Musical Theatre programs nationwide and continues to evolve to meet the challenges of our ever-changing industry. This teaching experience must include a minimum of three (3) academic years of teaching at the university level OR teaching professional performers. This professional experience can, but need not, be contemporaneous to the candidate’s teaching experience. Finalists for the position will be expected to demonstrate their knowledge and instructional capability by teaching a class of CCM Musical Theatre undergraduate level students.
