The music program at Wofford is in an exciting phase of growth with strong faculty and administrative support for the continued transformation of the program from an extra-curricular activity to a major-granting department. • Provide leadership as the director of bands, overseeing all aspects of the colleges band program, including conducting Woffords Concert Band and Pep/Jazz Band. • Develop and implement a plan for recruiting students to the band program. to 15-20 minutes of video of the candidate conducting a concert band both in rehearsal and performance from the perspective of the ensemble, (4) a statement of teaching philosophy that addresses how the candidate fosters a welcoming climate for students from underrepresented groups, (5) a statement on scholarly research or creative work, and (6) three letters of reference, including at least one addressing the candidates teaching (these should be sent directly by the referees).
