This position is integral to supporting the Director's daily operations and ensuring the consistent efficiency of all administrative and logistical functions.ResponsibilitiesManage scheduling, calendaring, and administrative tasks for Director of Bands.In conjunction with the Senior Administrative Associate for the Longhorn Band, prepare, maintain and submit entertainment, travel, and purchasing receipts for budget and finance compliance.Coordinate travel logistics for Director of Bands, including booking airfare, hotels, car service, and travel related needs. Assist with travel coordination for ensembles, as needed.Assist with administrative functions including correspondence, organization, and documentation management. Collect and compile information according to record keeping policies and procedures.Plan and manage events, including working with vendors, Longhorn Band Assistant Director, staff, faculty, and students.
