The Full-Time Music Professor is a key faculty member at Portland Bible College, responsible for delivering high-quality music education while actively supporting the worship vision of Mannahouse Church. This role includes teaching voice, music theory, choir, and intermediate piano, while mentoring students in both musical skill and spiritual maturity. The ideal candidate will have substantial worship leading experience in a local church context and a strong heart for discipling the next generation of worship leaders and church musicians.This role requires deep commitment to the vision of “We Are Mannahouse,” and to the integration of academic excellence, theological formation, and practical ministry. As an extension of Mannahouse Church’s ministry, this faculty member is expected to engage regularly in the life of the church, lead worship at services and events, and mobilize PBC students to actively participate in churchwide expressions of worship and service.Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours/weekMinistry Center: Porland Bible CollegeReports directly to the President of Porland Bible CollegeCollaborates with the Mannahouse Lead Worship Pastor and Mannahouse Worship teamsBachelor’s degree in Music or higher (Master’s preferred)Proven ability to teach:Private and group voiceMusic theory (all levels)Choir / vocal ensembleIntermediate piano and musicianshipMinimum 2 years of worship leading experience in a church settingStrong administrative, organizational, and communication skillsDemonstrated capacity to mentor students in spiritual, academic, and musical developmentSpiritually mature, modeling servant leadership and a lifestyle of worshipCommitted to the mission, vision, and values of Portland Bible College and Mannahouse ChurchAbility to implement the discipleship culture and coaching mindset central to PBC’s educational modelA visionary and galvanizing leader with a strong ability to gather people, build teams, and expand the reach of the school through partnerships and networking (especially with MFI churches and other ministry relationships)Must be a member in good standing of Mannahouse, including consistent attendance, ministry participation, and tithingResponsibilitiesTeachingProvides high-quality instruction in:Voice (private and/or group)Music Theory (beginner to advanced levels)Choir and vocal ensembleIntermediate Piano and MusicianshipDevelops and maintains course syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with department and college goalsFosters classroom environments that are spiritually rich, musically rigorous, and pastorally supportiveWorship & Church EngagementLeads or assists in worship for weekly chapel services and college eventsRegularly leads worship at Mannahouse services, churchwide events, and conferencesCoordinates and mobilizes PBC students to participate in and serve at church and college eventsSupports the planning and execution of collaborative worship experiences across campusesMentoring & LeadershipProvides discipleship, coaching, and mentorship to students in both academic and spiritual areasParticipates in faculty meetings, campus-wide initiatives, and professional developmentContributes to the strategic growth of the music program through curriculum development, recruitment efforts, and external networkingGalvanizes students, alumni, and ministry partners toward the mission and expansion of PBC #J-18808-Ljbffr
