PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The purpose of this job is to see that instruments are processed into a saleable inventory status as
soon as possible. This position handles receiving items into PRG locations, inventory placement,
picking orders, packaging orders and safe movement of items electronically and physically
throughout the KCDC. This position will also occasionally assist in inspecting inbound inventory
and preparation for photography and video presentation.
Receipt of new items into PRG inventory and labeling items to be placed into location.
Preparing locations an items for photography.
Movement of items electronically and physically throughout the KCDC.
Researching order notes for specific request form customers.
Picking, packing and loading items for order fulfillment.
Building Shipping boxes
Identifies and records instrument weight, description and serial number for the Riversand serialized database and order notes.
Performs inbound inspections and separation of items for sealed and non-sealed inventory.

ESSENTIAL MENTAL AND PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS
Mental Functions:
Refers to positions where the incumbent performs the required tasks independently. The incumbent may
perform duties in the areas of technical support, design and analysis, and can be required to make
recommendations. The person holding such a position may also exercise supervisory responsibilities, but
not on a regular and ongoing basis. Work is performed under the general supervision of an immediate
supervisor, who reviews the completed work in order to assess the degree of judgment and compliance with
standards.
Physical Functions:
* Keying/typing, sitting, standing, walking.
* Constant mental and/or visual attention; the work is either repetitive or diversified requiring
constant alertness in an office environment.
* The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; any disagreeable
elements are generally absent during normal performance of the job.
* Compliance with company attendance standards.
* Associate is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Associate is frequently required to sit, occasionally required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. Associatemust regularly lift and /or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by
this job include close vision and color vision.
* Associate is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles;
toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment
is usually moderate. Use of various glues and solvents, buffing wheel, soldering iron and drills.
EQUIPMENT USED
* Warehouse environment with personnel constantly loading, unloading, and moving inventory
in and around your work area
WORK ENVIRONMENT
* Warehouse environment, subject to moderate temperature changes. There are minimal health
hazards due to working on or around a forklift.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Travel is not required.
1 year of relevant work experiene disassembling/assembling guitars
1 year of guitar playing experience
Novice musical instrument/gear knowledge
Novice proficiencey with the Microsft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Basic proficiency with standard business applications such as the internet and email
