This role requires flexibility across various audio disciplines and the ability to multitask to meet deadlines. After implementation, they verify proper functioning and ensure the overall audio quality and mood of the game are appropriate.ResponsibilitiesCompose music in diverse styles such as Chinese, Japanese, Caribbean, Mariachi, Middle Eastern, African, Indian, Native American, European Ethnic Folk, Epic Fantasy, and Vintage American (50s-60s).Possess strong knowledge of music theory.Understand the recording process and signal chain setup.Mix audio in stereo and 5.1 formats.Maintain a complex personal recording studio.Record and catalog custom sound effects.Create convincing sound design for animations.Ensure all audio implementation is accurate and detailed.Read music (preferred).Communicate effectively to meet milestones.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsGaming experience is preferred.University degrees in music performance, composition, audio recording/mixing, media music, or film scoring are preferred.At least 2 years of experience with a major Digital Audio Workstation (Logic Pro, Sonar, Cubase, Pro Tools).Experience with audio editing software such as Sound Forge or Wavelab.Experience recording and editing musician recordings.Experience producing and editing voiceovers.Proficiency in at least one musical instrument (professional level preferred).Experience creating custom sample libraries is a plus.Experience with JIRA or similar milestone tracking software is a plus.Experience with version control software is a plus.Self-motivated and capable of working independently.Highly organized and quick to learn complex software.Why Join Aristocrat?Aristocrat is a global leader in gaming content and technology, renowned for its mobile games.
