The Rhode Island Philharmonic invites highly qualified musicians to audition for a non-rotating Section Viola position. The audition will be held at the Carter Center, 667 Waterman Ave., East Providence, RI on September 14, 2026. Candidates must submit a one-page PDF résumé by 5 PM on August 21, 2026. The orchestra operates on a per-service basis, with approximately 70 services in the 2026-2027 season. Employment offers depend on proof of work eligibility in the United States.
