Band Director

Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy in Broken Arrow, OK has a part-time opening for an inspiring band director to join our energetic Fine Arts team teaching beginner and intermediate band classes for 5th-12th grade students. The teacher will help students grow in their ability, appreciation, and performance of instrumental music through lesson planning, instrument instruction, and collaboration with other areas of ILCA’s fine arts department. This position also offers the opportunity to teach private lessons through our fine arts academy and has the potential to be expanded to full-time depending on the teacher’s qualifications. Responsibilities • Oversee the development and implementation of educational programs that align with state standards and best practices. • Manage behavior management strategies to create a conducive learning environment for all students.
