Band Director

The Band Director will be responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting band rehearsals and performances, ensuring that students receive a comprehensive music education that aligns with state standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education, with the ability to inspire and motivate students of varying skill levels. This role requires collaboration with other music faculty and school staff to create a cohesive music program that enhances the overall educational experience for students. In addition to conducting rehearsals and performances, the Band Director will also be responsible for curriculum development, student assessments, and maintaining communication with parents and the community regarding the band program. The position may also involve organizing and leading extracurricular activities, such as marching band, concert band, and other musical ensembles, providing students with opportunities to perform at various events throughout the school year.
