Position Summary The Band Director provides dynamic, Christ-centered instruction to elementary and secondary students in instrumental music. Additionally, this person will teach the Advanced Placement Music Theory course for High School, sponsor the High School Tri-M Music Honor Society, and coordinate domestic and international travel opportunities. Program Leadership & Administration Oversee all aspects of the band program, including scheduling, rehearsals, performances, and repertoire selection. Facilitate instrument rental procedures and instrument repairs. Active involvement in all Florida Bandmasters Association events including Music Performance Assessment (MPA), Solo and Ensemble, All State Auditions, District Honor Band, and Florida Music Educators Association Conference.
