Ability to organize rehearsals, performances, and large ensemble activities. Directs and coordinates the school band program to develop students' individual and ensemble performance skills, musicianship, and appreciation of music. Recruit and retain students to maintain balanced instrumentation and strong enrollment within the band program. Coordinate marching band rehearsals, performances, and related activities as required. Ability to build and foster harmonious rapport and work cooperatively with District staff, students, parents, and the public while achieving the objectives and goals of the position.
