Band Director (Part-Time)

Indiana Tech enrolls nearly 1,500 students in its traditional undergraduate programs on its picturesque main campus, and nearly 5,000 students in its adult and online program. This individual will supervise all aspects of the Band, including practices and performances. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Assist in recruitment and retention of qualified new band members to add to the total number of 25 band members • Obtain and teach new music with the help of the Spirit Director • Oversee rehearsals and practices • Coordinate all aspects of performances - both at Indiana Tech and in the Community • Assist the Athletic Director with budgeting funds for maintaining the band • Be comfortable in dealing with a diverse student population • Complete other duties as assigned by the head coach or the athletic director • Support the mission, vision, and strategic plan of Indiana Tech
