REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Assist in promoting band activities in the school and community Assist the band director in planning the music program Assist the band director in organizing and supervising practices Assist the band director in teaching individual fundamental skills, team plan, team strategy and rules and regulations Assist the band director in teaching good sportsmanship and self-control. Fundamentals of various music programs Health and safety regulation Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy ABILITY TO Maintain regular and predictable attendance Assist the band director in one or more areas of the music program Understand and follow oral and written directions Read, interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures Lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Any combination equivalent to: high school diploma or G.E.
