Job Title: Band Instruments (Woodwinds, Brass and Piano) Instructor Reports to: Program Coordinator Classification: Part-time, Flexible schedule, In-Person, Remote, or Hybrid Hopewell’s mission is to improve access to music education in North Minneapolis through affordable, inclusive, and engaging music programs Degree in music or equivalent experience Ability to teach to a beginning level the standard band instruments (woodwinds, brass) as well as piano Passion for teaching & commitment to continuing development of teaching skills Understanding of multiple musical styles Excellent technique and proficiency in performance Strong interest in working with diverse socioeconomic groups Knowledge of cultural competency and ability to adapt to ensure inclusive participation
