For a child who is going through a life-threatening illness, you can make a difference by lifting their spirits through the power of music.JoyRx Music draws on the universal power of music to energize and lift spirits. Our music program helps children find joy during the stressful and painful experiences related to extended hospitalizations and treatments for life-threatening illnesses.Our Volunteer Hallway Musicians are a critical piece of this program, filling the hospital lobbies and hallways with music. This truly transforms the hospital environment for children, families, and staff from the moment they enter the building.Our musicians come to their preferred hospital, Randall or Doernbecher Children's Hospital, with their instrument ready to play a two-hour set of thoughtful and sensitive music.
