Benefits Analyst

The American Federation of Musicians and Employers' Pension Fund (AFM-EPF) is a defined benefit multi-employer pension plan for members of the American Federation of Musicians. The American Federation of Musicians and Employers' Pension Fund ("AFM-EPF") was established for the exclusive purpose of providing certain pension and related benefits to Covered Employees and their Beneficiaries under the Plan, and shall further provide the means for financing and maintaining the operation and administration of the Trust and the Plan in accordance with the Trust Agreement, the Plan, and applicable law. Job duties include reviewing pension applications, determining applicant eligibility, performing benefits calculation and determining the type of benefit to be paid or denied. Job Description • Determine eligibility for pension benefits, including benefit adjustments, re-retirement, re-determination, and death claims. • Calculate estimates and prepare estimate packages for participants, beneficiaries and alternate payees.
