Board Member

We bring together composers, filmmakers, musicians, educators, and historians to offer life-changing opportunities to students across Southern California, regardless of their background or ability. Each season, we create customized sequential workshops aligning with VAPA standards and culminating in live and virtual concert programs. Role Description This is a part-time role for a Board Member based in Los Angeles, CA. Qualifications • Experience in strategic planning and program development • Skills in fundraising, building community partnerships, and stakeholder engagement • Knowledge of VAPA standards, and commitment to social justice and educational equity • Excellent communication, leadership, and advisory skills • Ability to work collaboratively and supportively within a board and organizational setting • Background in music education, the arts, or related fields is highly desirable
