Music & Arts is seeking a Brass Music Teacher to provide engaging private and group lessons for brass students of all ages and levels in our retail lesson studio. In this role, you'll create lesson plans, prepare students for performances and school ensembles, and track progress toward musical goals. You will collaborate with store staff to support rentals, instrument care, and accessories, while promoting additional lessons and programs. The ideal candidate is a skilled brass performer and educator who is organized, student-focused, and passionate about music education and community engagement.
Responsibilities
Provide private and small-group brass lessons to students of varying ages and skill levelsDevelop individualized lesson plans and curriculum aligned with student goals and school programsAssess student progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardiansPrepare students for recitals, auditions, and school ensemble performancesCollaborate with store staff to support rentals, instrument sales, and accessory recommendationsMaintain a structured, positive, and inclusive learning environmentAdvise students on practice routines, technique, and instrument careAccurately maintain schedules, attendance records, and student notesParticipate in store events, recitals, and community outreach as neededUphold Music & Arts policies, safety standards, and student-focused cultureRequired Skills
