VITAS Healthcare(r) is looking for musicians who are able to devote some time to playing or singing for hospice patients living at home, in the hospital or in long term care facilities. By playing or singing favorite songs or hymns, VITAS music volunteers help patients and families reconnect with feelings and memories that can bring about a sense of peace and happiness. The musician provides talent, compassion and time. Assignments are made according to the volunteer’s time and location. By taking time out of your busy week you can make the biggest difference in another’s life.
