Calling All Musicians! Volunteer to Make a Difference in the Lives of Others

VITAS Healthcare is looking for musicians who are able to devote some time to playing or singing for hospice patients living at home or in long term care facilities. By playing or singing favorite songs or hymns, VITAS music volunteers help patients and families reconnect with feelings and memories that can bring about a sense of peace and happiness. Assignments are made according to the volunteer’s time and location. By taking time out of your busy week you can make the biggest difference in another’s life. Your commitment is completely up to you, whether you spend one day a week or one day a month.
