Cantor and Instrumentalist

The Archdiocese of San Antonio is seeking a Cantor and Instrumentalist to join our team. As a part-time employee, you will be responsible for performing music at various parish services, including Sunday Vigil Mass and special events as needed. Responsibilities: • Provide musical leadership for various parish services, including Sunday Vigil Mass and special events as needed • Collaborate with the Pastor and/or Director of Music and Liturgy to plan and prepare musical elements for parish services • Ensure that all musical elements align with the parish's mission and values • Be available to perform at special events, including weddings, funerals, and other events as needed To be successful in this role, you will need a high school degree or equivalent, ability to sing with accurate pitch and rhythm, and ability to play various instruments (Piano/Organ/Guitar preferred). A basic understanding of Music Theory and strong interpersonal skills are also essential.
