Catholic Music Director

• Shall select music appropriate to the worship service and provide creative planning for the services in order to prepare a worship set that is consistent with the common practice and theology of the service and select music in keeping with the theme of the worship service, event or ceremony. • Shall coordinate and coach all persons involved with music ministry. The purpose of the Music Director Coordinator is to provide music and choral performances to assist the congregation in worship. • Coordinate with the instrumentalist to adjust tempo and style of musical arrangements to enhance the congregation's ability to participate in worship through the singing of hymns, choruses, and spiritual songs. Education & Qualifications: • Shall possess experience as a music director in religious worship settings, with sufficient experience playing piano or musical instruments appropriate at public worship services.
