Position Summary Ladgov Corporation is seeking a qualified Catholic Music Director to provide professional music ministry support for Catholic worship services at Maxwell Air Force Base. Work Schedule Direct weekly choir rehearsals and Catholic Mass musicSelect music appropriate to the Catholic Liturgical CalendarConduct choir warm-ups before servicesRecruit, organize, and train choir members and musiciansCoordinate music selections with the Catholic PriestProvide solo or accompanied vocal music when requiredSet up and maintain microphones, music stands, risers, and related equipmentOperate the chapel sound system as neededSupport special services, funerals, and other approved Catholic eventsProvide a qualified substitute when unavailableSubmit required monthly activity reports and participate in scheduled Catholic Pastoral Council meetings At least 5 years of experience directing choirs for Catholic MassesKnowledge of Catholic liturgy, hymns, and seasonal worship musicAbility to direct different styles of Catholic musicStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to speak, read, write, and understand EnglishAbility to pass required background screening and obtain Maxwell AFB accessReliable transportation and availability for the required schedule
