Job Title: Catholic Musician Location: Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Texas Duties and Responsibilities... • Lead the choir, sing music, and play a lead instrument (piano or guitar) for congregational singing during scheduled services and special services as needed. • Select music for preludes, interludes, and postludes that conform to the liturgical norms of the Roman Catholic Church and are approved by the Catholic Chaplain. • Participate in rehearsals as directed, with the length not exceeding two hours. • Familiarity with the Catholic Faith and Liturgical needs and practices. • Ability to work well in a multi-denominational setting.
