Catholic Musician Pianist or Organist

Location: East Honolulu SCOPEThe Musician shall be required to provide sufficient quantities of qualified musician personnel, to perform the required task for each service type described in this performance work statement (PWS), in support of the MCB Hawaii chapel.CONTRACT OVERVIEWThe Marine Corps Base chapel has many programs and religious ministries, Catholic and Protestant, to include programs such as worship services, bible studies and religious education, seasonal programs and services, and outreach programs. The liturgical worship services Pianist/Organist services required are in support of the Catholic worship services, bible study and religious education programs at the Kaneohe Marine Corps Base (MCB) Hawaii chapel.PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENT/TASKING3.1 The Musician is required to provide Pianist/Organist services at the 0930 MCBH Catholic community service every week. The musician is required to select appropriate music to be performed each week in consultation with the Catholic priest.3.1b. The musician is responsible for providing pianist/organist services each week, 1.5 hours per week, for 52 weeks per calendar year.3.1d. The rehearsals shall be conducted for approximately one (1) one-hour sessions per week and shall be coordinated with the TR or designee as to the specific time and place.3.1f.
