A Director of Music position is available at a Catholic parish. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating liturgical music and leading the choir. The Director of Music will: • Coordinate liturgically and seasonally appropriate music for all parish liturgies, including Sunday Masses, Baptisms and Presentations, Weddings, Anniversaries, Funerals and Memorials, Penance Services and Anointing of the Sick, First Communions and Confirmations, Liturgies of the Word & Holy Communion, Blessings in the context of Mass and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Feasts and Solemnities of the Lord, Our Lady, and St. Joseph, Advent and Christmas, Lent, Holy Week and Easter seasons. The successful candidate must have: • At least three (3) years of experience in Catholic parish music ministry. The Director of Music will work in a fast-paced environment with priorities and plans that may change rapidly.
