Catholic Worship Musician

The Catholic Worship Musician supports the Catholic liturgical music program at MacDill AFB Chapel by providing high-quality musical accompaniment and leadership for worship services. Key Responsibilities: • Provide musical accompaniment and/or lead worship for: • 2 Weekend Masses per week • 1 weekly rehearsal • 7 Holy Day services • 2 Christmas Masses • 2 Triduum services • 3 Holy Week services • 2 memorial/funeral services • Select and blend appropriate music styles including hymns, contemporary, and praise music in accordance with Catholic liturgical directives. • Secure and clean facilities after use and comply with all chapel and base policies. Required Qualifications: • Proficient in guitar and piano, with the ability to sight-read a variety of Christian and Catholic music styles. Note: This position is part of a proposal submission.
