Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Cello Teacher to inspire students of all ages and skill levels in the art of cello playing. Responsibilities

Design and deliver comprehensive cello lessons tailored to students’ skill levels and learning goalsDevelop innovative curriculum plans that incorporate technical skills, musical expression, and performance techniquesManage classroom environments effectively to ensure a positive, respectful, and motivating atmosphereProvide guidance on proper instrument handling, posture, tuning, and maintenance practicesIncorporate elements of music theory, sight-reading, improvisation, and performance preparation into lessonsFoster creativity through integrating arts such as choreography, dance instruction, or theatrical elements when appropriateTrack student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs and developmental stagesSkills

Proven experience in teaching instrumental performance with a focus on cello or similar string instrumentsStrong background in curriculum development and lesson planning for diverse age groupsExcellent classroom management skills to create an engaging learning environmentExperience working with children and youth programs, including preschool or school-age studentsKnowledge of visual & performing arts education, including choreography, dance instruction, or theater experienceAbility to work effectively with students of varying skill levels and backgroundsFamiliarity with childhood development principles and behavior management techniquesSkills in music education, tutoring, or adult education settings are highly desirableAdditional expertise in photography or culinary arts is a plus but not required; the focus remains on creative arts instructionJoin us in inspiring creativity and fostering artistic excellence!
