Chapel Musician

Position title: Chapel Musician Location: Bolling, DC Qualification Requirements: • Proficiency in at least one accompanying instrument, i.e., piano or organ • Knowledge of keyboard technique, service playing requirements • Must be able to play an array of religious music for Roman Catholic Mass and Protestant Services • Must be flexible and adapt to various Chaplains of different denominations along with their expectations and take directions when playing • Understanding of acoustics especially to the space in which the parish worships • Basic knowledge of harmony • Proficiency to sight read music and sings a variety of arrangements and improvises as needed • Practice and remain proficient in musical skills Services to Perform: • Protestant Musician Services at 9:00 AM Sunday Powered by JazzHR
