The position requires 2 hours per week onsite, between 8:00-10:00 AM on Sundays, with regular accessibility and communication during the week for elements of worship planning. Responsibilities • Serve as pianist and vocalist for 9 AM worship services on Sundays, September through mid-June, providing for all musical elements of the service, including but not limited to preludes, congregational hymns, liturgical responses, solos/anthems, and postludes. • Weekly presence between 8:15-10:00 AM on Sundays to meet with pastors and hold occasional rehearsals, in addition to leading music in the 9 AM worship service. The Chapel Worship Lead Musician reports to the Director of Music, Village Church in Wellesley. • Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for meaningful collaboration with the pastors and music staff of Village Church Wellesley & Weston.
