Job Description We are seeking a skilled Music Director to facilitate music for all liturgical celebrations. The ideal candidate will be bi-lingual, with expertise in piano and organ playing, directing, and planning regularly scheduled weekend liturgies. This is a part-time position that requires cooperation with the supervisor, developing musicianship of cantors and other musicians, and working in collaboration with other ministers as needed. • Facilitate music for all liturgical celebrations • Schedule and rehearse adult choirs • Recruit and form parish cantors and music volunteers • Play organ/piano at weekend Masses and Holy Days • Plan seasonal liturgies • Provide music for faith formation programs • Supervise audio-visual equipment • Offer music for funerals and weddings Requirements
