Chief Liturgical Musician

**Job Description:** The Director of Music plays a vital role in the parish community, collaborating with the Pastor to create an environment where parishioners can encounter Jesus Christ through prayer, sacraments, and worship. This position requires strong leadership skills, as you will lead annual planning for liturgical seasons, sacrament celebrations, and special liturgies in collaboration with parish staff. As Director of Music, you will be responsible for directing parish liturgical ministers to ensure liturgies are well-planned, engaging, and faithful to official liturgical books and Catholic theology. You will also oversee the training of volunteers to follow liturgical norms. You will be responsible for creating worship aids that enable full participation in liturgies and celebrations, and ensuring that the parish worship space is welcoming to all.
