This role will work with all departments in the organization, as well as Fund Participants, other industry organizations, and 3 o IT, application development, and project management o The annual Participant regular and omissions distribution activities across multiple departments and 3rd party vendors, ensuring an accurate and on-time delivery • Work collaboratively with the Fund’s Leadership team to promote overall organizational effectiveness, building strong relationships internally and externally to become an integral part of the senior leadership team • Ensure effective communication of priority issues and projects and promote organizational learning across the organization • Manage Operations annual budget, including forecasting, analysis, and overall governance • Lead large-scale operational programs and projects to successful completion within scope, on time, on budget, and with high adoption organization-wide • Performs other duties consistent with the position as assigned by the Executive Director Staff Support and Development : • Promote and encourage a strong commitment to the Fund’s mission, goals, and values • Quickly gain and maintain knowledge of operational processes, business rules, constituencies, participants, and the operating environment • Ensure that staff goals, work plans, and tasks are clearly articulated and met and that professional development is a priority across the organization • Build leadership practices that support the recruitment, development, engagement, and retention of a diverse and talented team - including providing best-practice education and mentoring • Foster an environment of employee appreciation, where staff members are rewarded for their commitment and positive performance • Ensure the consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures and leverage opportunities to innovate and improve effectiveness where possible • Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated cross-functional and / or cross-departmental experience; ability to develop and successfully execute on operational and / or financial strategies at an organizational level • Ability to effectively build and lead teams, inclusive of direct reports who manage staff • Capacity to deliver complex IT projects as a project leader • Ability and flexibility to manage multiple project schedules across multiple teams • Technical aptitude, with the ability to solve complex problems • Critical thinker with strong analytical skills • Well-developed organizational, planning, and collaboration skills • Ability to understand the big picture while applying acute attention to detail and follow-through when required • Expert writing, listening, and interpersonal skills
