Position Summary Medium sized church seeks Music Director to provide leadership and direction for choir. Candidate must understand how choirs work and how to choose appropriate music for skill level of voices and accompaniment. Commitment of 2-3 hours per week with occasional special services (weddings, funerals, etc). Essential Function • Hold and conduct regular rehearsals for Choir over a 42-week Liturgical Year (September – May). • Lead choir and/or other musical groups during each Sunday 10am service over a 42-week Liturgical Year.
